I just had a dream where I I had a crush on or was attracted to someone that looked like Tatiana Maslany, a talented, funny amd attractive female celebrity that I hope and aspire to be more like. At a certain point she vanishes among a bunch of people and I can’t find her. I search and search for some time and still nothing. After a while, I begin to give up, but then, I find two other women, who are being very playful and mischievous and their hair is long and curly and they look a bit older. They look like my brother’s ex-girlfriend from nine years ago, who I was angry at for a few months but then I forgave and hugged her after seeing her and my brother in another dream where we were in my family’s previous home where I was laying on our old couch in the living room. This ex-girlfriend I sympathized with because I understood her and why she did what she did and I related to her. These two identical looking girls, who are still giggling playfully and mischievously in the dream I just had now go behind a couch with me under a blanket, in a large public place where everyone can probably see, but we’re also slightly hidden possibly. I think we’re in love and having sex. In real life, I’m also transgender and haven’t yet transitioned but I want to.
Dreams often reflect our deepest desires, fears, and unconscious thoughts. In your dream, the presence of Tatiana Maslany, whom you admire, suggests a yearning for qualities that you associate with her—confidence, talent, humor, and attractiveness. She represents an ideal or a part of yourself that you aspire to embody. Your attraction to her might symbolize a desire to connect with your authentic self, especially considering your journey as a transgender individual aspiring for transition.
When Tatiana vanishes among a crowd, it could reflect feelings of being lost or disconnected from this idealized part of yourself or the traits you aspire to possess. Searching for her symbolizes the quest for identity and self-acceptance. The sense of giving up in your search could reflect anxiety or frustration in your own journey of self-discovery, suggesting that you sometimes feel overwhelmed or unable to grasp certain aspects of your identity.
The introduction of the two women resembling your brother’s ex-girlfriend adds complexity to your dream. While she represents a past relationship that once caused you anger, the fact that you've since empathized with her indicates personal growth and maturity. The playful and mischievous nature of these women might symbolize a desire for fun, spontaneity, or acceptance of your own playful side amid serious struggles. They could represent parts of yourself that are ready to embrace joy and intimacy, possibly reflecting a longing for romantic connections or the exploration of your gender identity within relationships.
The scene where you find yourself under a blanket with these women, aware yet partially hidden from public view, suggests a merging of longing and inhibitions. This moment might illustrate your desire for connection, intimacy, and acceptance. The public setting indicates a tension between personal desires and societal expectations—your need for love and acceptance coexists with fears of visibility and vulnerability in a world that can sometimes be judgmental.
The act of feeling in love and engaging in an intimate encounter further emphasizes your yearning for emotional and physical connection, perhaps underscoring a desire to express your true self in an uninhibited way. It could also relate to a longing for acceptance not just from others but also from yourself, as you navigate your identity.
Overall, this dream reflects a multifaceted exploration of your aspirations, desires, and emotional complexities regarding identity, love, and self-acceptance. It encourages you to continue your journey towards embracing who you are and reminds you that the quest for identity often involves seeking connections with others who reflect aspects of your desires and experiences. The playful nature of the women may encourage you to find joy within your journey while also searching for community and acceptance.
